Electronic Preliminary Information (EPI, or colloquially “electronic form”) is a way to optimize and speed up the customs clearance process when placing goods under the customs transit procedure. EPI allows customs authorities to carry out preliminary control even before the goods arrive at the border, and it is also used as a transit declaration.

Electronic preliminary information (EPI) on goods and vehicles crossing the customs border must be submitted no later than 2 hours before the goods arrive at the customs territory of the EAEU.

Providing customs authorities at entry points with preliminary electronic information about the goods and vehicles being transported is one of the most effective ways to reduce border crossing time.

Currently, SIA Starptautisko Pārvadājumu Loģistikas Centrs provides a full range of services related to customs clearance at all border crossing points.
