Compliance Certificates
Compliance certificates are documents that confirm that a product or service meets established standards and requirements.
These certificates are important for ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
To obtain a certificate of compliance, the manufacturer or supplier must complete several steps, including:
Preparation of technical documentation: This includes information about the design, manufacturing, and functionality of the product.
Certificate A.TR
The A.TR certificate is a customs document used in trade between the European Union (EU) and Turkey.
It confirms that the goods are in free circulation within the EU or Turkey, and therefore are exempt from customs duties.
This certificate is particularly valuable as it helps reduce or completely eliminate customs tariffs that would normally apply to imports and exports between the two regions.
However, it’s important to note that the A.TR is not a certificate of origin — it only confirms that the goods are already in free circulation.
Our specialists will prepare the A.TR certificate promptly and accurately upon client request, and deliver the original to a pre-agreed location.
FITO Certificate
The FITO (Phytosanitary) certificate confirms that plants, plant-based products, or related materials have been inspected and meet phytosanitary import/export standards.
This certificate is essential to ensure that imported or exported plants and products are free from pests and diseases that could threaten local agriculture and the environment.
In Latvia, phytosanitary certificates are issued by authorized regulatory bodies.
